Warehouse Operative

Job description:

  • Goods receipting deliveries
  • Checking deliveries and asking for technical help when needed
  • Despatching good to customers, returns to suppliers if needed
  • Checking a week later with the customer that their shipment was received and that they have everything they need with the order
  • Ensuring certification is sent to the customer if it has been requested
  • Safety checking the forklift daily/weekly
  • Safety checking racking and ladders monthly
  • Ensuring workstation is tidy and free from hazards
  • Ensuring whole warehouse is tidy and following Health and Safety good practice
  • Ensuring stock is kept in the correct location
  • Photographing stock and saving a picture of this on Priority stock can be easily located
  • Stock taking as required

Further information:

  • Full time / permanent
  • Salary based on experience
  • 22 days holiday, pension scheme
  • Based in Solihull, West Midlands
  • Reporting into the General Manager

About you:

  • Strong organisational skills
  • Computer literate
  • Engineering experience is helpful
